$0.00

Signed and Dated : 2016

Oil on Canvas

150 cm x 200 cm

----------------------------------

“Hideaway” portrays a sharp contrast of Indonesia’s human and land resources. Indonesia’s geological richness, depicted in the lushful, blossoming lotus flowers is juxtaposed with the faceless mummy figures. The mummy figures here is portrayed as a faithful society that is perhaps still stuck, in between praying, wandering and constantly falling short in comparison with other societies.
