Off The Grid
Located in an industrial area of Tangerang, Ohana Gallery is regarded as an Oasis in the midst of dust, noise and activities of the Industrial Area. Tucked deep inside a warehouse complex with a coveted entry, Ohana Gallery is truly off any beaten track of the traditional norm.
Whilst most galleries tend to cluster in central location with the standard purpose-built white cubes, Mrs.Telly (founder) is an advocate of challenging the status quo. She purposely wanted to strip away the white-walled objectivity to create an unconventional space by repurposing the existing space and transformed it into an inviting, green and homey feel. Ultimately, she wanted to show that beauty can be achieved, even in the most mundane places.
