Gallery Management Staff

Candidate should be passionate about art, design, photography, operations, sales, marketing, e-commerce and content creation as well as punctual and organized self-starters who are motivated to gain experience in all aspects of art business through engaged participation.

Applicants should have a desire to work with local artists and help foster their practice and career. Candidate will have the unique opportunity to learn about development of artistic project and also learn the value of strategic partnerships, collaborative projects and collector engagement.

Responsibilities Include:

• Receive artworks: documentation, condition reports, archival storage
• Assist in organizing assets inventory (image files, details, prices, editions)
• Coordinate special events, exhibition and artist projects
• Manage incoming inventory and ensures all artwork documentation is received for each piece, ensuring everything is accounted for prior to scheduled artwork launches

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• 1-3 years of working experience, preferably in the creative industry
• Previous experience working in a small business and/or start up environment is preferred;
• Strong attention to detail with outstanding multi-tasking skills and capability to follow through on projects
• Ability to spearhead initiatives independently and also work well with the team to achieve goals
• Effective and open communication
• Familiarity with Adobe creative Suite a plus

 


Sales Account Manager

Seeking an accomplished leader with a strong eye for various art and design aesthetics to source, develop and execute commercial projects for high profile clienteles (property owners, developers, architecture, hospitality and interior design firms).

Expertise for this role in sales, project management, client relations and business development includes concept and design development, team and client management, vision and presentation, procurement strategy, overseeing construction documentation and installation.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and implement short and long-term road map through existing network and continued outreach to target niche clienteles
  • Expand and develop new client markets regionally and internationally
  • Actively research potential new collectors in both B2B and B2C segments
  • Prepare collector related materials and deliver an extraordinary client experience
  • Track, collect and determine patterns of sales trends and collector leads
  • Work with the art advisory team to develop a comprehensive understanding of art acquisition and placement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree is a must.
  • 2-5 years of sales/account management experience in art of interior design preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of standard software and online tools (MS Suite, Salesforce, AdSense)
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to create strong sales collateral
  • Solid experience negotiating contracts and partnerships
  • Previous experience working in a small business and/or start up environment is preferred,
  • Passion for and knowledge of the art world and experience in building art collections is a plus
